Chester (Chet) Wright originally from Des Moines, Iowa started his Martial Arts Journey in the Art of Judo when he moved to Virginia in 2009. He continued with Judo until late 2012 when he was finally able to pursue a life long goal of training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a pursuit that started at the age of 10 after watching a young Royce Gracie in the very 1st UFC. Always in the pursuit of knowledge Chester also trained in Jeet Kune Do and Shoot-Fighting. Currently a brwon who has been under the Gustavo Machado family banner for several years, Chet is honored to be training under World Class Grappling Competitor and Professor Greg Walker. Chet’s goal in Martial Arts is to impart knowledge to others and help people better themselves, not just on the mat but in life.
